The audience results of ‘MyHyV’ were not the desired ones, with an average this season of 178,000 viewers and 3.2% of screen share. Mediaset, however, had kept the space, which continued to have a great pull in social networks and in the digital environment. ‘Mujeres y hombres y viceversa’ premiered on Telecinco in June 2008, although since 2018 it has been broadcast on Cuatro. It is a dating show presented by Emma García in its early days and registered a spectacular 18.4% share in its premiere. In its premiere on Cuatro, it achieved a 7.3% screen share, a very good result for the channel, but over time it was also accusing wear and tear.

End of a cycle. Mediaset has cancelled ‘Mujeres y hombres y viceversa’, the group’s dating show, which, almost from the beginning, has been one of the driving forces in the narratives of both Telecinco, its original home, and Cuatro.

The program had already been in a low point for some time, its status as a phenomenon began to fade after the first generation of “tronistas” and interest has been dropping despite the continuous remodeling and twists of the program, including its conversion to a sort of reality show, its move to Cuatro and having Jorge Javier Vázquez as a “tronista”.

Along with ‘Sálvame’, the bombshell of ‘Mujeres y hombres y viceversa’ was such that it was soon integrated into the synergy between the different programs of Telecinco, ensuring that there was a continuous conversation and being a quarry for reality (‘Supervivientes’, mainly) and for the programs (there we have Rafa Mora as a collaborator of ‘Sálvame’).
