Six characters meet in the room of a famous psychiatrist. They all suffer from different types of Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and anxiety betrays them with ideas from which they cannot escape and which provoke fear, nervousness, restlessness, repetitive behaviors…

Tendency to say obscenities (Coprolalia), systematic repetition of words or phrases (Palilalia), pathological need to count objects (Arithmomania), extreme fear of getting sick (Nosophobia)… These are some of the OCD that the protagonists of the play suffer from and whose cure they have gone to the doctor’s office. But the psychiatrist who has summoned them does not appear and they will end up being the ones to draw their own conclusions.

We are looking forward to meeting again in the stalls and in order to do so with all the guarantees of safety, we have prepared a series of measures. We would be grateful if you could help us to put them into practice.

Era cómodo y limpio y me sentí segura.

Total inability to walk over straight lines, coprolalia, nosophobia or fascination with order and symmetry are some of the OCD suffered by the patients of this doctor who never goes to the doctor’s office.

In addition to the promised laughs, ‘Toc Toc’ makes every spectator feel that they have a mirror in the scene, recognizing in some of the patients family members, friends or even themselves, something that, although more difficult to recognize, makes for a fantastic and equal enjoyment of the play.

Obsessive verification, nosophobia, coprolalia, echolalia, arithmomania and palilalia are the disorders suffered by the characters of ‘Toc Toc’. Already at the time Esteve Ferrer denied that this work was the object of mockery towards people suffering from these disorders, in fact, it has been strongly recommended by psychiatrists and psychologists for those who suffer from these diseases or study them, as well as for those who just want to laugh and have a good time.

Esteve Ferrer, Paco Obregón, Ana Trinidad, Carmen Arévalo, Óscar Ramos, Laura Hernández and Sara Moros are the actors who make up the cast of this comedy, which is about six patients with Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), such as coprolalia, nosophobia, obsessive verification or palilalia, who meet in the room of a famous psychiatrist, who they trust to solve their problems, but who will never come to the therapeutic consultation.
